  It was a good day for a ball game in Seattle, and we were treated to a pretty good game, with a sweet finish - a winning goal in the 91st minute from Fucito !

  So, it's a sick day, so going through the archive. This is a shot of one of my favorite Vietnamese soups, bun rieu. Carly decided to do noodle soups as a focus for one of her photography assignments. How could I complain?  

  Not really sure what these are, but some sort of perennial remnant from the past has bloomed in our backyard.

Manzanita, OR   Ok. I'm being lazy and pulling one from the archive. But the fact of the matter is, is that I'd much rather be there right now, instead of posting this while I wait for the next meeting on India Standard Time to begin. As my sister-in-law put it today, it "pays the bills." As for the picture, it was an idyllic summer day on the Oregon coast that promised, and delivered, a picturesque sunset.

Easter inspired "Peep-shi"   C got inspired by an article sent to her about sushi made with rice krispie treats, peeps, and fruit rollups. These are the result. I've been very bad at keeping with things I want to do, including post here. So here's another attempt at keeping this up. I would really like to try my hand at having a daily photoblog, but that may be a bit ambitious. So first thought: post at least once a week. Here goes...
